Privacy
Rate the Slop stores only what it needs to run community voting: canonical X status URLs, numeric post IDs, moderation state, aggregate votes, anonymous interaction records, timestamps, and report metadata.
What we do not store
We do not store copied post text, screenshots, media, usernames, raw IP addresses, Turnstile tokens, or secrets. Canonical storage uses only the numeric X post ID and does not retain the submitted account handle. We do not claim that a score detects AI authorship.
Official X embeds
Approved verdict pages use the official X widget. When it loads, X may receive the page URL, your IP address, browser information, and cookies. The widget may be blocked by your browser or unavailable for protected and deleted posts.

Anonymous interactions
Voting uses a random secure cookie that lasts up to one year. The server combines it with a coarse network prefix using a private HMAC key; raw IP addresses are neither stored nor sent to Turnstile verification. Vote and report interaction records expire after 180 days.
